School Boards are key players in the continuum of education, skills and employment program options available to their communities. CESBA is an umbrella group representing adult and continuing education departments of school boards across Ontario.

Through innovative partnerships and strong connections to their communities, adult education services and programs create pathways to employment and further training and education required to meet career goals.

School Boards are an important part of Ontario’s Employment and Training System. Through their Adult & Continuing Education Departments and Affiliates, School Boards delivered employment and training services to over 380,000 Ontarians in 2006 alone.
