PLAR (Prior Learning Assessment & Recognition) for Mature Students Training Project
This CESBA project is funded by the Ministry of Education to assist boards in the implementation of PPM#132 set to begin February 1, 2004. Training in all Ministry districts took place across Ontario between November 20th and December 12th, 2003.
The Project Team led by consultant Pat Shaughnessy, and supported by Audrey Amo and Brenda Protheroe, did and excellent job in presenting the material designed to help school boards prepare for the February 1st implementation of PPM#132.
PLAR for Mature Students Website
CESBA is pleased to introduce the new PLAR for Mature Students Website. This site is the online version of the complete PLAR for Mature Students Binder and CD produced by CESBA for use at the training sessions that have been held around Ontario during the Fall of 2003 and the Spring of 2004.

CESBA is funded from a number of different sources to undertake projects for specific purposes. These projects are all related to adult and continuing education issues in Ontario and are time limited.
